Bursa Malaysia remains higher at mid-morning

KUALA LUMPUR - Bursa Malaysia stayed higher at mid-morning, lifted by additions in key heavyweights like Maybank, Sime Darby and Petronas Chemicals. 

At 11.03am, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) remained at 1,752.26, up 3.96 focuses, from yesterday's end of 1,748.3. 

Prior, the list opened 2.36 focuses higher at 1,750.66. 

On the more extensive market, gainers outpaced decliners by 459 to 262, while 340 counters unaltered, 668 untraded and 23 others were suspended. 

Turnover remained at 1.79 billion shares worth RM903.05 million.
