Partakes in the Singapore bourse opened lower with the key Straits Times Index down 13.19 focuses at 3,095.43 in front of US President Donald Trump's address.
Nearly 156 million shares worth S$294.3 million were finished with 48 counters up and 62 down.
There are a couple of things that the market will chase for in Mr Trump's address, for example, assessment, framework and exchange approaches, said IG Markets strategist Jingyi Pan.
"The absence of points of interest may not pacify the undeniably restless market. Ought to the points of interest - or the absence of - disillusion the business sectors, the chase for places of refuge may get rather," she included.
