Singapore shares open flat on Wednesday

SINGAPORE offers opened level on Wednesday with the Straits Times Index (STI) up 6.41 focuses or 0.21 for each penny to 3,012.43 at 9.01am, following wins in Europe and Tokyo.

Somewhere in the range of 82.2 million shares worth S$95.6 million changed hands with gainers beating failures 67 to 52.

Enormous, Ezion and Golden Agri-Resources were among the most dynamic stocks at the opening ringer.

On Tuesday, the benchmark STI got through the mentally critical level of 3,000 focuses without precedent for 14 months, making the neighborhood bourse one of the best performing markets on the planet year-to-date.
