GENTING Singapore saw its shares rally more than 9 for every penny on Friday, a day after the clubhouse administrator reported a surge in its second from last quarter net benefit.
At 10.29 am, Genting Singapore shares were drifting around S$0.83, up seven Singapore pennies, or 9.21 for every penny. An amazing 42.58 million shares changed hands, making it the second most effectively exchanged stock after wares bunch Noble.
Late on Thursday, the club administrator reported that profit for the three months finished Sept 30, 2016 surged 187.2 for every penny to S$106.9 million from the earlier year's S$37.2 million.
