SINGAPORE : stocks opened higher on Monday taking after
increases on Wall Street on Friday. As at 9.04am, the benchmark Straits Times
Index was up 9.98 focuses or 0.35 for every penny at 2,869.31.
On Wall Street, every one of the three files shut at new
highs on Friday on confidence about more grounded US development taking after
the presidential decision, though in the midst of light occasion volume.
On Singapore's bourse, somewhere in the range of 78.5 million
shares worth S$87.5 million changed hands, with gainers dwarfing failures 74 to
62.
The most astounding worth exchanged stocks by 9.06am were
Keppel Corp, up four pennies to S$5.44; Wilmar worldwide, up one penny to
S$3.60; and DBS Bank, up 14 pennies to S$17.19.
